regulation cap, the badge of the Scottish Rite Mason |
A BLACK cap with the double-headed eagle indicates the wearer has attained the
32° and is appropriately called a members cap. |
A BLUE cap is a worker of committee cap and is so designated by the wording. |
A GOLD cap indicates the wearer is an Officer. Each officer line of the Scottish
Rite is designated by the emblem on the cap. |
A RED cap indicates the wearer has received the Meritorious Service Award. |
A WHITE cap indicates the wearer has received the 33°, titled Sovereign Grand Inspector General, Honorary Member of the Supreme Council. |
A PURPLE cap indicates the wearer is a 33° Sovereign Grand Inspector General and an Active Member of the Supreme Council or an Active Emeritus Member. |
